id be happier stuck with a train guard job for 6 years than in uni doing medicine in 6 years =p.... and yea they earn that much according to the railcorp website...
oh and my dads telling me its not worth it and its a waste of time because even though he got a master degree he couldnt find a job for it and the job he found was alot more stressful and had less pay than a train 'driver' (not guard in his case)... he scratched all his degrees and just went with that job for 15 years. The reason i have all these ideas swirling around in my head is because of my father... he is a very experienced and educated man and has been around the world however he made wrong choices in life (His father couldnt care less about him and most of his siblings used him to migrate here making him end up on a loan of $100,000..) he told me that "opportunities where always thrown by me but i was never ready to catch them and he showed me that through renting"
That is why i became interested in the renting and auctioning, etc of houses....
HOWEVER To invest into something i must have something to invest... Thats why id work as a train guard and then quit...
